Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Krause K+K blank-end coupling DIN 3489 – Securely seal unused compressed-air connections

The Krause K+K blank-end coupling is used to seal open connections within the standard claw coupling system in accordance with DIN 3489. It features a symmetrical coupling head with two claws, a 42 mm claw spacing, and double safety cams, and—like the other couplings in the system—is locked by rotating it approximately 45°.

The robust design is made of zinc-plated malleable cast iron and is equipped with an NBR rubber seal. The temperature range is from −40 °C to +100 °C, and the maximum operating pressure is PN 10. Depending on the application, you can choose between a version without a chain and a version with a chain. The chain keeps the blank-end coupling readily available at the connection point and reduces the risk of losing the removed blank-end coupling.

Benefits

✅ Compatible with the DIN 3489 standard claw coupling system
✅ 42 mm claw spacing with double safety cams
✅ Heavy-duty malleable cast iron, galvanized
✅ NBR rubber seal
✅ Optional: with or without chain
✅ Quick locking with an approx. 45° rotation
✅ For open compressed-air connections on pipes, manifolds, and systems
✅ Temperature range: −40 °C to +100 °C
✅ Maximum operating pressure PN 10

FAQ

What is the claw spacing of the blank-end coupling?
The claw spacing is 42 mm.

Which gasket is installed?
An NBR rubber seal.

What is the maximum operating pressure?
Maximum PN 10.

What is the purpose of the version with a chain?
The chain holds the blank-end coupling in place at the designated connection and reduces the risk of the locking mechanism being misplaced or lost when opened.

Can the blank-end coupling be used with standard DIN 3489 couplings?
Yes. It uses the same 42-mm coupling head as the standard system.

Conclusion

The Krause K+K blank-end coupling, conforming to DIN 3489, is a simple, robust, and technically suitable solution for closing open compressed-air connections. Made of zinc-plated malleable cast iron with an NBR seal, a 42 mm claw spacing, and rated at PN 10, it is a durable accessory for professional compressed-air systems. The version with a chain offers the additional practical advantage that the shut-off device remains accessible directly at the connection.
