Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Contracor Protector 600 – short silicon carbide Venturi blast nozzle

The Contracor Protector 600 is a compact, 80 mm-long Venturi blast nozzle for professional pressure blasting applications. The silicon carbide nozzle insert offers high wear resistance while weighing less than tungsten carbide. This makes the nozzle particularly suitable when a short design and low weight are required.

A polyurethane jacket, a 32 mm inlet, and a 50 mm coarse thread combine to create a practical professional design. Six bore sizes ranging from 5 to 12.5 mm are available.

Benefits

✅ Compact 80-mm design
✅ Silicon carbide nozzle insert with high wear resistance
✅ Lighter than tungsten carbide
✅ Polyurethane jacket
✅ 32 mm inlet and 50 mm coarse thread
✅ Six bore sizes
✅ Easy to handle during extended periods of manual work
✅ Unique manufacturer SKUs

Calculate compressed-air requirements, abrasive consumption and compressor capacity

All available bore sizes are included in the blast nozzle calculator. A reserve of 30 or 50% is used for compressor sizing and accounts for nozzle wear and typical pressure losses. Effective free air delivery at working pressure is decisive when selecting the compressor.

Select the nozzle bore, working pressure and desired capacity reserve. The calculator shows the compressed-air requirement, recommended compressor free air delivery, approximate abrasive consumption and an indicative compressor motor power.

💡 Capacity reserve: This accounts for nozzle wear and typical pressure losses; it does not affect abrasive consumption.

Technical guide values. Abrasive consumption and kW figures are approximate; effective free air delivery at working pressure is decisive when selecting the compressor.

How It Works and Selecting the Nozzle Size

✔ Compact Venturi design for easy handling
✔ Smaller bore sizes reduce air consumption
✔ Larger bore sizes provide higher performance with a suitably sized compressor
✔ Lower nozzle weight can improve handling during prolonged manual work

Recommended Abrasive Media

✔ Corundum / aluminium oxide
✔ Garnet
✔ Slag and disposable mineral abrasives
✔ Glass beads
✔ Additional dry mineral abrasive media of suitable grit size

Silicon carbide is more brittle than tungsten carbide. For very rough handling or a high risk of impact, a tungsten carbide version is often the more robust choice.

Applications

✔ Rust removal and paint stripping
✔ Surface preparation
✔ Workshop, construction site and maintenance
✔ Prolonged manual work where low nozzle weight is preferred
✔ Confined work areas

Wear, Inspection, and Operation

Protect the nozzle from drops and strong impacts. Check the bore regularly; wear increases compressed-air consumption. Cracks, chipping or damage to the nozzle insert are grounds for replacement.

FAQ

How long is the nozzle?
80 mm.

Which connection?
50 mm coarse thread with a 32 mm inlet.

Which bore sizes?
5 to 12.5 mm.

What is the main advantage of silicon carbide?
High wear resistance with lower weight than tungsten carbide.

Conclusion

The Contracor Protector 600 is a compact, lightweight and wear-resistant silicon carbide Venturi blast nozzle for professional pressure blasting applications. It is particularly suitable where a short design and low weight are key considerations.
