BRS-5 vacuum blasting system with blasting suction head, including brushes, 5 m hose, complete set

The Contracor BRS-5 is a high-performance vacuum blasting system featuring a 50-liter blast pot and a closed abrasive media circulation system for surface treatment with significantly reduced dust. The direct recirculation system returns the abrasive media and dust directly at the blast head, thereby significantly reducing contamination of the work environment and the effort required for cleanup.

Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Contracor BRS-5 – vacuum blasting system for highly dust-reduced blasting

The Contracor BRS-5 is a high-performance vacuum blasting system with a closed abrasive-recovery circuit for larger repair, maintenance and refurbishment projects. Abrasive media, removed coatings and dust are extracted directly at the blast/suction head, separated within the system and the reusable abrasive media is returned to the blasting process.

Compared with open blasting, direct recovery significantly reduces dust and loose abrasive media in the working environment. The system does not operate completely dust-free. Required personal protective equipment and any additional protective measures depend on the risk assessment, abrasive media, substrate, possible hazardous substances and the manufacturer’s instructions.

Benefits

✅ Highly dust-reduced blasting through direct extraction at the blast/suction head
✅ Closed abrasive-recovery circuit
✅ 50-litre blast pot for longer operating intervals
✅ High-performance 5.5 kW vacuum pump
✅ Automatic filter cleaning
✅ MTC-6.5 blast nozzle with 6.5 mm bore
✅ 5 m combined blast and suction hose included
✅ Suitable for larger repair and maintenance areas

Safety Notice

The vacuum recovery system significantly reduces dust, abrasive rebound and cleaning effort, but it does not replace a risk assessment or required personal protective equipment. Additional protective measures may be necessary, particularly with unknown old coatings, hazardous dusts or inadequate sealing of the blast/suction head.

FAQ

Does the BRS-5 operate completely dust-free?
No. Direct extraction greatly reduces the release of dust and abrasive media, but completely dust-free operation cannot generally be assumed.

Which blast nozzle is included?
An MTC-6.5 with a 6.5 mm nozzle bore.

Which hose length is included?
5 m. The system is designed for a maximum hose length of 10 m.

Can protective equipment be omitted?
No. Required PPE depends on the specific application, risk assessment and manufacturer instructions.
