Nozzle bore and compressor power
The nozzle bore diameter significantly determines how much compressed air the system requires. As the bore size increases, the possible air and abrasive flow rate increases. This can increase the surface coverage rate, but requires a sufficiently sized compressor. To ensure stable blasting performance, a power reserve should also be taken into account, because the blast hose, couplings, valves, and compressed-air treatment cause additional pressure losses.

Hose-insert blast nozzles have their own plug-in design. Therefore, the existing nozzle holder or blast hose must be clearly identified before purchase.
