Buy Blast Cabinet Accessories – Components Compatible with Your Existing System
Blast cabinets include both standard wear parts and components designed to improve operation and workpiece handling. Since many parts are directly involved in the blasting process, technical compatibility is more important than mere visual or dimensional similarity.
The current product range in this category focuses on blast guns, air and blast nozzles, booth gloves, rubber linings, gun holders, and turntables. This covers precisely those areas that are subject to frequent wear and tear during daily booth operations or that need to be adapted to different workpieces.
Check before ordering
✅ Manufacturer and model of the existing blast cabinet
✅ Specific blast gun or blasting head type
✅ Required air and blast nozzle sizes
✅ Abrasive media and desired nozzle material
✅ Length and fit of the booth gloves
✅ Series of booths for rubber lining and brackets
✅ Available space and desired diameter for the turntable
Blast guns for suction blast cabinets
In suction blast cabinets, the blast gun is the central component of the injector system. The current product line includes, among other items, manual and automatic GA/GX blast guns from Contracor as well as professional cabinet blast heads from Radler & Ruf.
The gun must be compatible with the existing air supply, the abrasive hose, and the booth design. For automated or fixed-mount applications, a suitable gun holder may also be useful.
The air jet and blast nozzle must be compatible
In the injector blast head, the air jet generates the air jet that creates the necessary vacuum to draw in the abrasive media. The downstream blast nozzle delivers the air-abrasive media mixture. Both nozzles therefore form a coordinated system.
An incorrect combination can reduce suction capacity and degrade the blast pattern, or unnecessarily increase compressed air consumption. Wear and tear also alters the geometry. If the nozzle bore becomes larger, air consumption increases and the original calibration may be lost.
Tungsten carbide or boron carbide for cabinet nozzles
The product range includes tungsten carbide and boron carbide blast nozzles for various blasting guns. Tungsten carbide is robust and more impact-resistant, while boron carbide offers very high wear resistance with many abrasive media but is more sensitive to mechanical impacts.
Which model is more economical depends on the abrasive media used, the daily operating time, and how the nozzle is handled. Highly aggressive abrasive media generally increase wear and tear, making high-quality nozzle materials particularly appealing.
Blast Cabinet Gloves as Wear and Operating Components
Blast cabinet gloves isolate the operator from the work area while allowing them to grip and rotate workpieces. In daily use, they are exposed to mechanical stress, abrasive media, and wear and tear, and should be regularly inspected for cracks, thin spots, and leaks.
The product range includes versions with smooth and rough surfaces as well as different lengths. When selecting a product, the length and mounting must be compatible with the existing booth. A rough surface can improve grip on workpieces, although the specific suitability always depends on the workflow.
Rubber lining protects the interior of the booth
Direct impact from blasting media places heavy strain on cabin walls. A suitable rubber lining protects interior surfaces subject to particularly heavy wear from premature deterioration. This is especially important during frequent use and when working with abrasive blasting media.
The linings offered are designed for specific CAB and ECO booths. Therefore, the exact booth series and size should be verified before placing an order.
Turntables for heavy and bulky workpieces
A turntable makes it possible to rotate a workpiece inside the booth without having to repeatedly lift it or move it completely out of the way. This allows for more ergonomic access to multiple sides. The current product line includes stationary TTS turntables as well as mobile turntables with a rail system and base frame.
The systems offered include options with diameters of 500 and 800 mm, among others. In addition to the diameter, compatibility with the respective booth series is a key factor. The permissible load should always be verified based on the specific product configuration and should not be derived from the diameter.
Replace “blast cabinet accessories” with a more specific term rather than a general one
Anyone who needs accessories for a blast cabinet should identify existing components as clearly as possible. Especially with blast guns and nozzles, even small differences in connections or geometry can significantly affect performance.
With the correct combination of gun, air jet, blast nozzle, and compressed air supply, the original blasting performance can be maintained. Gloves, linings, and turntables, on the other hand, primarily improve the protection, handling, and usability of the booth. Thus, accessories are selected not only as spare parts but as components of a coordinated booth system.
