Clemco Blast Guns: SG-300, Power-Injektor, and EDUCT-O-MATIC
The current lineup of Clemco blast guns covers several different operating modes. The SG-300 and the Power-Injektor are available for classic injector blasting applications. The Power-Injektor Universal expands on this principle by adding a water connection, while the EDUCT-O-MATIC, as a vacuum blasting system, recovers abrasive media and removed particles directly at the point of operation.
This allows users to choose specifically between a classic mobile blast gun, a system with a suction lance or hopper, a wet blasting solution, and a closed recirculating system. The selection should always be based on the actual application, as blasting performance, the work environment, and the required compressed air can vary significantly.
Clemco Models in the Current Product Line
✔ SG-300 with boron-carbide blast nozzle (Ø 8 mm), also available as a set
✔ Power-Injektor with suction lance, 5 m abrasive hose, and 5 m air hose
✔ Power-Injektor Universal, additionally equipped with a 5-meter water hose
✔ EDUCT-O-MATIC with a closed-loop system and various brushes
SG-300 for traditional injector blasting applications
The Clemco SG-300 is a compact blast gun for users who want to perform targeted blasting work without a separate blast pot. It is offered in the store with a 8 mm boron-carbide blast nozzle and is also available as a set with hoses and a blasting media container. The boron-carbide blast nozzle is particularly suitable for regular abrasive use because the material is designed for high wear resistance.
As with any injector gun, the achievable performance depends heavily on the compressed air supply. The compressor must be able to continuously deliver the air volume appropriate for the nozzle configuration.
Power-Injektor with suction lance or container
The Clemco Power-Injektor is currently available in the product line with an abrasive suction lance, a 5-meter abrasive hose, and a 5-meter air hose. Additionally, a version is available as a set with a container. The suction lance is useful when the abrasive media needs to be drawn from an external supply; the container solution, on the other hand, creates a defined, integrated system.
For repair work, localized rust removal, cleaning, or surface preparation, the injector principle can be a flexible solution, provided that a high continuous surface coverage rate from a pressure blasting system is not required.
Power-Injektor Universal with Water Connection
The Power-Injektor Universal also features a water connection. In the store, it is listed with a 5-meter abrasive hose, a 5-meter air hose, and a 5-meter water hose. In suitable applications, adding water can reduce dust generation during blasting. Whether wet or dry operation is more appropriate depends on the surface, the degree of contamination, the abrasive media, and the subsequent processing.
EDUCT-O-MATIC for suction work
The EDUCT-O-MATIC is not a traditional open-blasting handheld gun, but rather a closed-circuit vacuum blasting system. Various brushes help adapt the working area to the surface. The system is available with or without a carrying case and is particularly suitable for spot work where abrasive media and dust need to be collected immediately.
Buy a Clemco blast gun and size it correctly
Before making a purchase, you should determine the size of the surface to be treated, whether the process will be dry or wet, and whether extraction is required. Equally important are the available compressor power, the desired abrasive media, and the intended duration of use. This will help you make a technically sound choice between the SG-300, Power-Injektor, Power-Injektor Universal, and EDUCT-O-MATIC.
