We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.
Leasing
In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.
Hire Purchase
Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

IBIX 9 Helix Microblasting System – mobile Helix vortex blasting system for gentle restoration and cleaning work
The IBIX 9 Helix microblasting system combines IBIX’s mobile 9-liter platform with patented Helix vortex blasting technology. The special Helix gun sets the abrasive media in rotation and creates a more tangential, wider blast pattern. This can significantly reduce mechanical stress on the surface compared with a concentrated straight blast.
The system is particularly suitable for natural stone, marble, historic facades, wood, ornaments, and other sensitive surfaces. At the same time, the 9-liter version provides a larger abrasive reserve than the very compact IBIX 3 Helix while remaining highly mobile.

How Does the Helix Gun Work?
The Helix nozzle uses a vortex body and Venturi profile to set the abrasive media in rotation. The abrasive stream strikes the surface not only frontally but also with a tangential component. This increases the contact area and allows the cleaning effect to be controlled particularly precisely.
The process is therefore especially suitable for restoration and conservation work where preservation of the substrate is important. Working pressure, distance, abrasive media, and nozzle size must nevertheless always be matched to the surface.

Helix Nozzles and Abrasive Media
IBIX offers various Helix nozzles in different diameters. The required surface coverage, surface sensitivity, and available compressed-air volume are key factors when selecting the correct nozzle. Suitable abrasive media include fine mineral and plant-based materials. According to IBIX, sodium bicarbonate is not intended for use with the Helix gun.

FAQ about the IBIX 9 Helix
Can sodium bicarbonate be used with the Helix gun?
No. According to IBIX, the Helix gun is not intended for use with sodium bicarbonate.
What is the air requirement?
IBIX specifies a minimum air requirement of approximately 670 l/min for the 9-liter Helix version. Larger nozzles and higher pressure increase the actual requirement.
Is the system suitable for sensitive natural stone?
Yes. This is one of the strengths of the Helix process. The specific settings should nevertheless always be tested on a suitable test area first.
