Leasing & Rent-to-Own
Leasing & Rent-to-Own
We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.
Leasing
In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.
Hire Purchase
Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping & Delivery
Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.
The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.
Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Disclaimer:
We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.
The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.
Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.
In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Calculate compressed air requirements, abrasive consumption, and compressor power ratings
All STC bore sizes are pre-programmed in the blast nozzle calculator. As nozzle wear increases, so does the air demand. A reserve of 30 or 50% helps to compensate for this increased demand and pressure losses.
Select the nozzle bore size, working pressure, and desired power reserve. The calculator displays the compressed air requirement, the recommended compressor free air delivery, the approximate abrasive consumption, and a guideline for compressor motor power.
💡 Power reserve: This accounts for increased air demand due to nozzle wear as well as typical pressure losses. The reserve does not apply to abrasive consumption.
Technical guidelines. Abrasive consumption and kW ratings are approximations; the effective flow rate at operating pressure is the determining factor for compressor selection.
How It Works and Selecting the Nozzle Size
✔ Short Venturi design for easy handling
✔ Smaller orifices reduce air consumption
✔ Larger bore sizes increase blasting power and surface coverage rates when used with a suitable compressor
✔ 32-mm inlet supports a smooth, efficient flow
Recommended Abrasive Media
✔ Corundum / aluminum oxide
✔ Garnet
✔ Slag
✔ Glass beads
✔ Steel grit when used with a suitable system
✔ Additional dry abrasive media of suitable grit size
Applications
✔ Rust removal and paint stripping
✔ Surface preparation
✔ Workshop, construction site, and maintenance
✔ Steel and plant engineering
✔ Confined work areas
Wear, Inspection, and Operation
Check the nozzle bore regularly. As wear increases, air consumption and compressor load rise. Inspect the rubber sleeve and threads for damage, and secure the nozzle holder firmly.
FAQ
How long is the STC?
80 mm.
Which connection?
50 mm coarse thread with a 32 mm inlet.
Which bore sizes?
5, 6.5, 8, 9.5, 11, and 12.5 mm.
When is a short nozzle recommended?
When compact dimensions and maneuverability are more important than the maximum surface coverage rate of a long Venturi nozzle.
Conclusion
The Contracor STC is a compact and robust tungsten carbide Venturi blast nozzle with a non-slip rubber sleeve for professional pressure blasting applications. With six bore sizes, it covers a wide range of performance requirements.
