Spin-Blast internal pipe blasting equipment, with or without a cart, for pipes with an ID of 200–915 mm

The Clemco Spin-Blast is a pneumatically rotating internal pipe blasting equipment for pipes with an inside diameter of 200 to 915 mm. Two blast nozzles treat the inner pipe wall evenly all around, enabling high operating speeds for rust removal and surface preparation. The system is available with or without a cart, with an SB-1 or SB-2 blast head, and with nozzles ranging from 6.5 to 9.5 mm. The configuration must be selected to match the pipe’s internal diameter and the available compressor power ratings.

Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Clemco Spin-Blast – Internal Pipe Blasting Equipment for Pipes with an ID of 200–915 mm

The Clemco Spin-Blast is a pneumatically driven internal pipe blasting machine designed for the uniform treatment of larger internal pipe diameters. Two rotating blast nozzles distribute the abrasive media evenly around the pipe wall, enabling reproducible rust removal, scale removal, and surface preparation.

The system is available with or without a cart and is configured with either the SB-1 or SB-2 blast head and nozzles ranging from 6.5 to 9.5 mm, depending on the pipe ID. To ensure consistent results, the feed rate, rotational speed, blasting pressure, and material feed must be coordinated.

Your Benefits
✅ Uniform all-around blasting thanks to a rotating nozzle head
✅ For pipe ID 200–915 mm
✅ Optionally with or without a centering cart
✅ SB-1 and SB-2 blast heads
✅ Nozzle sizes: 6.5, 8, or 9.5 mm
✅ High work speed for professional surface preparation

Compressed Air and Operations

Since two nozzles operate simultaneously, the total air demand of both nozzles must be taken into account. The compressor, main air line, blast hose, and couplings must be designed so that 6–8 bar is available at the equipment under actual blasting load. A consistent feed rate prevents over-blasting and ensures that no areas are left unblasted.

Maintenance and Safety

Regularly inspect the rotary head, nozzles, bearings, casters, and fasteners. Nozzles that are worn unevenly cause imbalance and an uneven blast pattern. Shield pipe ends and ensure that no one is standing in the direction of the blast. Perform assembly and adjustment work only when the system is depressurized.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Is a cart absolutely necessary?
The required guidance depends on the pipe ID and the setup; for many applications, the right cart improves centering and results.

How do you select the nozzle size?
Based on pipe diameter, desired performance, and available compressed air supply.

Why do both nozzles need to wear evenly?
Different bore sizes affect air consumption, reaction forces, and blast distribution.
