Belt-driven rotary screw compressors on a base frame

Belt-driven rotary screw compressors on a base frame, ranging from 3 to 90 kW

Belt-driven rotary screw compressors on a base frame are designed for flexible integration into existing or newly planned compressed air stations. In this category, you will find the F Series with 14 power ratings ranging from 3 to 90 kW.

Depending on the power rating, operating pressures of 8, 10, or 13 bar are available. The flow rate ranges from 0.38/0.46 m³/min at 3 kW up to 11.1/12.8/14.7 m³/min at 90 kW. Since air receivers and drying systems are not part of this design, the peripheral equipment can be sized separately to match the existing system. The required flow rate, system pressure, and reserve capacity are key factors in the selection process.

F Series on base frame

✅ 3 to 90 kW drive power

✅ 8 and 10 bar; 13 bar for models 5.5 kW and above

✅ approximately 0.38 to 14.7 m³/min flow rate

✅ for separate planning of tanks and compressed-air treatment

F Series: Belt-driven rotary screw compressors on a base frame

Belt-driven rotary screw compressors on a base frame provide a flexible foundation for stationary compressed air systems in which the air receiver, dryer, and filter are configured separately. The F Series in the current product line includes 14 power ratings ranging from 3 to 90 kW.

Power range from 3 to 90 kW

The smallest models deliver 0.38 or 0.46 m³/min at 3 kW and 0.53 or 0.62 m³/min at 4 kW. Starting at 5.5 kW, 13-bar models are available in addition to 8- and 10-bar versions. At the high end, the 90-kW version achieves 11.1, 12.8, or 14.7 m³/min, depending on the pressure stage.

Intermediate power levels of 7.5, 11, 15, 18.5, 22, 30, 37, 45, 55, and 75 kW allow for very precise adjustment to the required air demand. Note that the flow rate typically decreases when a higher pressure setting is selected.

Base frame for flexible system planning

This category deliberately does not include storage tanks or dryers. This allows the compressor unit to be integrated into existing compressed air networks or set up with separately sized peripheral equipment. This is particularly useful if an air receiver is already in place or if there are specific requirements for drying and filtration.

Sizing the F Series

✅ Add up the air requirements of the consumers operating simultaneously

✅ Specify the required operating pressure instead of the maximum possible pressure

✅ Take pressure losses in the piping system into account

✅ Plan for a reasonable power reserve

✅ Dimension containers and treatment systems separately

8, 10, or 13 bar?

The operating pressure should be set as high as necessary, but not simply as high as possible. The load, piping system, and process determine the required pressure level. The entire product series is widely available for applications with 8 or 10 bar; for power ratings of 5.5 kW and above, 13-bar variants are also available in the current product lineup.

Buy a rotary screw compressor on a base frame

If you’re looking to purchase a belt-driven rotary screw compressor on a base frame, you’ll find the fixed-speed F Series here, which does not include an integrated air receiver. Your selection should be based primarily on the flow rate at the required operating pressure and only secondarily on the power output in kW.
