Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Novablast FBN Venturi blast nozzle – tungsten carbide, 32 mm inlet diameter, and acetal jacket

The Novablast FBN is a long Venturi blast nozzle for professional pressurized blasting applications with high surface coverage rates. The elongated Venturi profile ensures that compressed air and abrasive media are accelerated in a controlled manner and exit the nozzle at high exit velocity. This creates a wide and uniform blast cone that is particularly well-suited for rapid rust removal, paint stripping, cleaning, and surface preparation tasks.

This model features a 32 mm inlet diameter, a robust acetal jacket, and a wear-resistant tungsten carbide nozzle insert. It connects via the 50 mm coarse thread, which is widely used in professional blast nozzles. With nozzle bores ranging from 5 to 19 mm, the FBN covers an exceptionally wide range of applications—from smaller compressed air capacities and targeted blasting tasks to very large air volumes and high surface coverage rates.

Benefits

✅ Long Venturi geometry for high abrasive velocity and a wide blast cone
✅ Tungsten carbide nozzle insert for rugged professional blasting applications

Calculate compressed air requirements, abrasive consumption, and compressor power ratings

Select the nozzle bore, operating pressure, and desired power reserve. The calculator displays the nozzle’s compressed air requirement, the recommended compressor free air deliveries, the approximate abrasive consumption, and a guideline for the required compressor motor power.

💡 Why plan for a power reserve? Blast nozzles wear out during operation. As this happens, the nozzle bore gradually increases in size, and the required compressed air flow rate rises. A power reserve helps compensate for this additional demand as well as typical pressure losses in the system, and keeps the desired blasting pressure stable even as nozzle wear increases.

The reserve applies exclusively to compressor sizing. Abrasive consumption remains unaffected.

Result:

The values are technical guidelines. Abrasive media consumption is an estimate based on published consumption tables for mineral abrasive media with a bulk density of approximately 1,600 kg/m³. Dosage, grit size, density, the metering valve, the hose system, and nozzle wear all influence actual consumption. The kW specification is for guidance only; the effective air delivery at operating pressure is the determining factor for compressor selection.

How It Works and Selecting the Nozzle Size

✔ The Venturi profile accelerates compressed air and abrasive media, producing a wide, even blast pattern
✔ The 32-mm inlet ensures a smooth, high-flow transition from the blast hose to the nozzle
✔ The nozzle bore directly affects compressed air consumption, blasting performance, and the required compressor size
✔ Smaller nozzle bores require less compressed air; larger bores allow for significantly higher surface coverage rates when there is a sufficient air supply
✔ The key factor is the actual available free air delivery of the compressor at operating pressure

Recommended Abrasive Media

The tungsten carbide core makes the FBN a versatile nozzle for many professional pressure blasting applications. It is particularly suitable for:

✔ Corundum / Aluminum Oxide
✔ Garnet abrasive
✔ Slag and other single-use mineral abrasives
✔ Glass beads
✔ Steel grit / steel grit for blasting systems designed for this purpose
✔ Additional dry, free-flowing abrasive media within the permissible grain size range

📌 Important: The grit size and maximum grain size must be compatible with the nozzle bore, the abrasive metering valve, and the entire conveying path. Damp, clumped, or excessively coarse abrasive media can impair material flow and cause cloggings.

Applications

✔ Rust removal from steel and metal surfaces
✔ Removal of old coatings, paint, scale, and heavy contamination
✔ Surface preparation prior to coating, painting, or corrosion protection
✔ Steel construction, plant engineering, vessel manufacturing, and industrial maintenance
✔ Shipyards, automotive and mechanical engineering
✔ Mobile Blasting Services on Construction Sites

Wear, Inspection, and Operation

Even a high-quality tungsten carbide blast nozzle is a wear part. Due to the continuous flow of abrasive, the nozzle bore enlarges over the course of its service life. This increases air consumption and places greater demands on the compressor.

✔ Check the nozzle bore regularly and compare it to the nominal dimension
✔ Replace heavily worn nozzles in a timely manner
✔ Check the nozzle and nozzle holder for damage and ensure they are securely fastened before starting operation
✔ Use clean, dry compressed air and suitable, contaminant-free abrasive media

FAQ

What is the inlet diameter of this FBN model?
The inlet diameter is 32 mm.

What is the connection thread on the nozzle?
The FBN is connected to a compatible nozzle holder via a 50 mm coarse thread.

What nozzle bores are available?
We carry the FBN with nozzle bores of 5, 6.5, 8, 9.5, 11, 12.5, 16, and 19 mm.

What nozzle size is right for my compressor?
The effective flow rate and the desired blasting pressure are crucial. Use the built-in calculator for this purpose.

Can a worn nozzle increase air consumption?
Yes. As the bore size increases, the required flow rate rises significantly.

Conclusion

The Novablast FBN Venturi blast nozzle is a robust and versatile solution for professional pressure blasting applications. A tungsten carbide core, acetal jacket, 32-mm inlet, and 50-mm coarse thread combine high durability with high-performance Venturi geometry. With a choice of nozzle sizes ranging from 5 to 19 mm, the FBN can be adapted to a wide variety of blasting systems. The integrated calculator helps you properly coordinate nozzle size, operating pressure, and compressor power before placing your order.
