Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Contracor EDUCT-O-MATIC – portable vacuum blasting system with closed abrasive-recovery circuit

The Contracor EDUCT-O-MATIC is a compact, portable vacuum blasting system for low-dust blasting of small surfaces, edges, corners and local repair areas. It combines blasting and abrasive recovery in one tool: reusable abrasive media is continuously returned to the integrated hopper, while dust, spent abrasive and removed contamination are collected in the dust bag.

The freely rotatable blast head allows work upwards, downwards and sideways without rotating the main body of the unit. Different rubber attachments and brushes help seal the blasting area against the surface and adapt the tool to flat surfaces, edges, corners, angles and other workpiece geometries.

Benefits at a Glance
✅ Closed abrasive-recovery circuit
✅ Significantly reduced dust and loose abrasive in the working area
✅ Reusable abrasive media is automatically returned to the hopper
✅ Dust and broken-down abrasive are collected separately in the dust bag
✅ Freely rotatable blast head for different working positions
✅ Two-stage control lever for extraction and blasting
✅ Compact portable design for local repair and cleaning work
✅ Different attachments for surfaces, corners, edges and angles
✅ Tungsten carbide blast nozzle for high wear resistance

General suitable abrasive mediaApprox. 0.15–0.40 mm according to the operating manualDry, clean and uniformly graded
💡 Recommendation:
For good recovery, low dust generation and reduced equipment wear, Contracor recommends steel shot or iron shot. Very brittle abrasive media break down more quickly and create more dust. Highly cutting abrasives such as corundum or silicon carbide can accelerate wear.

How the Closed Recovery Circuit Works

When the control lever is fully operated, the compressed air is divided into two streams. The first air stream creates a vacuum in the blast head, draws abrasive media from the integrated hopper and accelerates the air/abrasive mixture through the nozzle onto the surface.

The second air stream simultaneously creates the extraction effect. Abrasive media, dust and removed contamination are drawn back into the main body through the attachment sealed against the surface. Cyclonic separation returns reusable abrasive media through a screen to the hopper, while dust and lighter residues are collected in the dust bag.

Two-Stage Control Lever
✔ Lever partially operated: extraction only
✔ Lever fully operated: blasting and extraction simultaneously
✔ After blasting, keep the lever in the extraction position for another 2 to 3 seconds
✔ Residual abrasive media and dust are drawn back from the blast head

Attachments, Adapters and Brushes

The EDUCT-O-MATIC can be adapted to the workpiece geometry using different attachments. The operating manual lists standard adapters, master adapters, toothed attachments, edge attachments, angle attachments, flat-lip attachments, closed blind attachments, brush adapters, round brushes and angle brushes.

For reliable recovery, the selected attachment must sit fully and tightly against the surface during blasting.

Typical Applications
✔ Local rust and coating removal
✔ Weld-seam cleaning
✔ Preparation of small repair areas
✔ Cleaning flat surfaces
✔ Treatment of edges, corners and angles
✔ Repair work on machinery, vehicles and structures
✔ Blasting in areas where loose abrasive should be minimised

Commissioning and Operation
✔ Use dry, suitably treated compressed air
✔ Install an air filter and water separator in the supply line
✔ Fill only a small quantity of suitable abrasive media
✔ Fit the appropriate attachment securely to the blast head
✔ Hold the unit as upright as possible, with the hopper pointing downwards
✔ Press the attachment firmly against the surface before blasting
✔ After blasting, continue extraction only for 2 to 3 seconds

Maintenance and Safety
✔ Empty the dust bag regularly
✔ Check the screen, abrasive passages and hoses for blockages
✔ Inspect the tungsten carbide blast nozzle regularly for wear
✔ Check attachments and brushes for damage and sealing performance
✔ Never blast without a correctly seated attachment
✔ Never look into the blast nozzle while compressed air is connected
✔ Before maintenance, shut off the compressed-air supply and fully depressurise the system
✔ Use suitable eye protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection and protective clothing

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Does the unit operate completely dust-free?
The closed recovery system significantly reduces escaping dust and loose abrasive media. Effective recovery requires the selected attachment to seal properly against the surface.

What is the compressed-air requirement?
The manufacturer specifies approximately 2.5 m³/min at around 6.1 bar.

Which abrasive media are particularly suitable?
Contracor recommends steel shot or iron shot because they recover well and generate fewer fines than very brittle media.

Why does the lever have two stages?
The first stage activates extraction only. With the lever fully operated, blasting and extraction run simultaneously.

Which attachments are included?
According to the Contracor catalogue, the standard package includes six rubber attachments and one dust bag. Additional adapters and brushes are available as accessories or spare parts.
