Leasing
In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.
Hire Purchase
Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Comprag DV11 – variable-speed 11 kW rotary screw compressor with 1:1 direct drive
The Comprag DV11 combines a variable frequency drive with a 1:1 direct-drive screw compressor. Motor speed is continuously adapted to actual compressed-air demand, allowing the compressor to operate according to the consumption profile instead of relying solely on repeated load/idle cycles.
The electric motor and screw airend are connected directly through a flexible coupling. This eliminates belts and gear stages and reduces the number of wear components in the drive train.

Variable-Speed Control
A pressure sensor monitors system pressure and the variable frequency drive adjusts motor speed to current demand. This supports stable system pressure and can reduce unnecessary no-load operation when consumption varies.
1:1 Direct Drive
The motor transfers power directly to the screw airend via a flexible coupling. There is no belt transmission and no separate gearbox, which simplifies the drive train and avoids belt-related maintenance.
Construction and Components
The compressor combines the screw airend, electric motor, air filter, air/oil separator vessel and separator element, oil filter, thermostatic valve, cooler, fan and v-Log controller in a sound-insulated housing.
Control-System Integration
The v-Log controller supports MODBUS RTU and can therefore be integrated into a suitable higher-level plant control system. Multiple compressors can also be coordinated where supported by the controller configuration.
Compressed-Air Quality and Treatment
The DV11 generates oil-injected compressed air. According to the Comprag catalog, compressed air up to Class 4:4:4 according to ISO 8573-1:2010 is possible in a properly designed system. The quality actually achieved depends on the dryer, filtration stages and complete compressed-air system.
Installation and Maintenance
The compressor requires a level, load-bearing installation surface and sufficient ventilation. The manufacturer’s installation clearances and the applicable operating instructions must be observed. Maintenance intervals depend on operating conditions; the Comprag service schedule includes checks and service work at defined operating-hour intervals.
