DFF-P Compressed-air filter, coarse filtration, with filter element, max. 16 bar operating pressure, flow rate of 1.2–36.0 m³/min

The Comprag DFF-P dust filter is a robust compressed-air filter designed for coarse filtration of dry compressed air and serves as the first stage of purification in compressed-air treatment. With a filtration rating of 5 µm, it reliably removes coarse particles and protects downstream coalescing filters, activated carbon filters, and dryers from wear. Thanks to its low pressure drop, integrated filter element, and operating pressure of up to 16 bar, the DFF-P is ideal as a pre-filter for workshop and industrial systems with flow rates ranging from 1.2 to 36.0 m³/min.

Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

📐 Adjusting the Flow Rate – DFF Compressed-Air Filter

This calculator is used to adjust the flow rate of DFF compressed-air filters to different operating pressures.

The specified nominal flow rates refer to an operating pressure of 7 bar. For other pressures, the flow rate is adjusted using a correction factor.

Formula: Qactual = Q7 bar × Fp

Result:
Applies to all DFF filter types (e.g., fine filters, activated carbon filters, or pre-filters).

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
  • How often does the filter element need to be replaced?
Every 12 months or when the differential pressure reaches 350 mbar.
  • Is the filter ready for immediate use?
Yes—it comes with a filter element and a drain valve.
  • Can the filter be combined with other DFF filter stages?
Yes, the DFF series has a modular design and can be combined with filter stages M, S, and A.
  • What does filtration class P mean?
The filter removes particles ≥ 5 µm—ideal for coarse filtration.
  • Are there any compatible accessories?
Yes, e.g., wall-mounting kits, in-line installation kits, and replacement filter elements.
