Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Novablast FSV 1 1/4" – Robust flat sand valve for reliable abrasive metering

The Novablast FSV 1 1/4" is a mechanical abrasive metering valve for professional blast pots. The so-called Flat Sand Valve is one of the most widely used valve types worldwide in pressure blasting and stands out for its simple design, direct operation, and particularly maintenance-friendly construction.

Two wear discs operate inside the unit. The abrasive media falls into the valve by gravity and is mixed into the compressed air stream via the 90° geometry. The amount of abrasive media can be continuously adjusted using the hand lever. This allows the ratio of compressed air to abrasive media to be adjusted to the nozzle, working pressure, grit size, and desired removal rate.

The FSV is particularly well-suited for traditional mineral abrasive media and applications where ease of operation, quick maintenance, and low replacement part costs are key considerations.

Technical Specifications

Feature Value
Valve Type Flat Sand Valve
connection size 1 1/4 inches
Item Number 70001000
Dosage mechanically via a hand lever
Wear Parts 2 inner wear discs
Typical Abrasive Media mineral-based, dry abrasive media

How It Works

The abrasive media flows into the valve by gravity. The passing air flow aids in the mixing process. Adjusting the lever changes the cross-sectional area, thereby regulating the flow of abrasive media.

Suitable Abrasive Media

✔ Garnet
✔ Aluminum silicate
✔ Corundum
✔ Glass beads
✔ Slag blasting media
✔ Additional dry and free-flowing mineral media
📌 Note:
For particularly hard and aggressive metallic abrasive media such as steel grit, a specially designed SGV is the better choice in many applications.

Maintenance and Care

✔ Check wear discs regularly
✔ Clean abrasive residue from valve housings
✔ Check the lever mechanism for smooth operation
✔ Use only dry abrasive media
✔ Check connections and seals
✔ Replace worn discs in pairs

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What does FSV stand for?
FSV stands for Flat Sand Valve.

Why is the valve so easy to maintain?
The design is simple, and the two central wear discs are easily accessible.

Can steel grit be used?
Only to a limited extent and depending on the application and design. An SGV is usually more suitable for steel grit.

How is the amount of blasting media adjusted?
Using the external hand lever.
