Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Krause K+K male-thread coupling with brass seal – Easy-to-Connect Compressed Air Claw Coupling

The male-thread coupling with a brass seal from Krause K+K is designed for compressed air applications in which couplings are frequently connected and disconnected. The brass seal serves as the counterpart to a classic claw coupling with a rubber gasket and prevents the typical sticking of two elastomeric sealing surfaces.

The coupling is made of galvanized malleable cast iron. The seal assembly consists of a brass seal, an oil-resistant hose ring, and a galvanized retaining screw. A compatible claw coupling with a rubber gasket must always be used as the mating coupling. The maximum operating pressure is PN 10.

Benefits

✅ Brass seal for easy coupling and uncoupling
✅ Prevents two rubber seals from sticking together
✅ Heavy-duty malleable cast iron, galvanized
✅ Oil-resistant hose ring
✅ Galvanized retaining screw
✅ Ideal for frequently disconnected compressed-air connections
✅ Various male thread sizes
✅ Maximum PN 10

How It Works and Compatibility

✔ The brass seal is combined with a mating coupling featuring a rubber gasket
✔ This prevents two elastomeric sealing surfaces from sticking together
✔ Particularly suitable for connections that are regularly disconnected and reconnected
✔ The brass seal design is not intended to be used as a pair of two brass seals
✔ The male thread allows for mounting on fittings, machines, and compressed air components

Applications

✔ Direct connections to compressors
✔ Pneumatic tools and machinery
✔ Compressed Air Supply for Construction Sites
✔ Workshops and Industry
✔ Compressed-air lines that need to be connected frequently
✔ Blasting technology within the permissible operating parameters

FAQ

Why is a brass seal used?
It facilitates coupling and prevents two rubber seals from sticking together.

Which counter coupling is required?
A suitable claw coupling with a rubber gasket.

Can two couplings with brass seals be used together?
The combination specified by Krause K+K consists of a brass seal and a rubber gasket.

What is the maximum operating pressure?
PN 10.

What thread sizes are available?
G 1/2", G 3/4", and G 1".

Conclusion

The Krause K+K male-thread coupling with a brass seal is particularly useful in applications where compressed-air connections are regularly disconnected and reconnected. The combination of zinc-plated malleable cast iron, a brass seal, and an oil-resistant hose ring ensures a robust and user-friendly connection—provided that the intended coupling with a rubber gasket is used on the opposite end.
