Leasing
In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.
Hire Purchase
Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Installation and System Design
The HMS must be installed in the correct flow direction and, if possible, at an easily accessible location. The connection cross-section and actual flow rate of the entire air treatment system must be sufficient to meet the air requirements of the nozzle being used. The water separator is not a substitute for a refrigerated air dryer or desiccant air dryer when particularly low pressure dew points are required.
Maintenance and Inspection
If draining manually, drain condensate regularly and before it reaches a critical level. Check automatic drains to ensure they are unobstructed and functioning reliably. Check the housing, seals, connections, and drain line for leaks. Perform work only on a system that is completely depressurized.
