Na pistola para cabina, consoante a versão, é possível escolher entre um bico de jato em aço endurecido ou em metal duro. O sistema móvel está equipado com um bico de jato em metal duro Ø 8 mm, um depósito de 50 litros, uma mangueira de abrasivo de 3,20 m e uma mangueira de ar de 4 m. Desta forma, a escolha pode ser feita diretamente em função do local de trabalho disponível: pistola para cabina para um sistema de jato existente ou solução com depósito para trabalhos de jato por injeção mais flexíveis. Continuam a ser determinantes o bico adequado, o abrasivo, a pressão de trabalho e uma potência do compressor suficiente.

Radler & Ruf blast guns: Cabin Gun or 50-Liter System

The current Radler & Ruf blast gun lineup offers a choice of two different application concepts. The professional blast gun for blast cabinets is designed for use within an existing cabinet system. In addition, a stand-alone blast gun is available, featuring a 50-liter abrasive hopper, a carbide blast nozzle (Ø 8 mm), a 3.20-meter abrasive hose, and a 4-meter air hose.

This makes the choice relatively clear: Those who already own a blast cabinet or need a gun for a closed blasting chamber should choose the blast cabinet solution. Those looking for a more flexible injector unit with its own abrasive supply should opt for the 50-liter system.

Blast gun for blast cabinets

The cabinet gun is designed for precise manual blasting within a closed blasting chamber. There, the workpiece can be processed in a controlled manner while the abrasive media remains within the cabinet system. Typical applications include cleaning, rust removal, matting, and preparing smaller components.

For the blasting gun, you can choose between a hardened steel nozzle and a carbide nozzle. Which version is appropriate depends primarily on the frequency of use and the type of abrasive media used. Carbide is the more wear-resistant option for high abrasive loads and regular use, while hardened steel can be a simpler solution for less intensive applications.

50-liter container for flexible injector blasting applications

The second system combines the blast gun with a 50-liter abrasive hopper. This provides a larger supply of abrasive without requiring a permanent blast cabinet. The gun comes with a carbide blast nozzle (Ø 8 mm), a 3.20 m abrasive hose, and a 4 m air hose.

This model is ideal for workshop and repair work that requires flexibility when working on the workpiece. The 50-liter tank reduces the frequency of refills but does not automatically increase blasting performance. Nozzle selection, working pressure, and compressor power are the key factors in determining blasting performance.

Match the nozzle material to the abrasive media

Blast nozzles are wear parts. How quickly a blast nozzle wears out depends, among other things, on the abrasive media, operating time, and working pressure. When using abrasive media and in frequent use, a durable nozzle material is particularly important. At the same time, the abrasive media grit size must match the nozzle bore so that the material is conveyed reliably and the gun is not subjected to unnecessary strain.

Don’t Underestimate Compressor Power Ratings

In a blast gun, the blasting performance results from the interaction of air volume, working pressure, and nozzle combination. A compressor that only reaches sufficient pressure briefly may experience a sharp drop in pressure during blasting. Therefore, the effective air delivery rate under continuous operation should be verified before making a selection.

When making a purchase decision, the work environment should be determined first. For an existing blasting booth, the booth gun is the appropriate product group. For independent workshop work, the 50-liter system offers a self-contained supply of abrasive media. After that, the nozzle material, abrasive media, and available compressed air determine the technically appropriate configuration.
