Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Contracor Air Jet for GA and GX Blast Guns

The Contracor air jet is a compatible replacement and wear part for the GA and GX blast guns in Contracor blast cabinets. It directs compressed air through a specific orifice into the gun’s mixing chamber, where it creates the vacuum that draws in the abrasive media and mixes it with the air stream.

The air jet is available in four bore sizes ranging from 2.4 to 5.0 mm. The choice of the appropriate model affects the compressed air requirement and must be compatible with the blast nozzle used as well as the available compressor power ratings.

Recommended combination of air jet and blast nozzle

To ensure good suction performance and a consistent flow of blasting media, the air jet and blast nozzle should be matched to each other. As the air jet size increases, so do the possible blast output and, at the same time, the required compressed air flow rate.

air jet Matching Blast Nozzle Typical Applications
2.4 mm 4 to 5 mm Precision work and low compressed air consumption
3.2 mm 6 mm Smaller cabins and medium power range
4.0 mm 8 mm Common standard combination for GA/GX
5.0 mm 10 mm High blasting performance with sufficient compressor power
💡 Important:
When replacing a blast gun, the existing combination of components should always be maintained. A blast nozzle that is too large combined with an air jet that is too small can reduce suction power. A larger air jet significantly increases compressed air consumption and requires a compressor with sufficient capacity.

Selecting the Right Air Jet

A larger orifice allows for a higher air flow rate and can increase blasting power, but requires correspondingly more compressor power. A smaller air jet reduces air consumption but also limits the maximum achievable blasting power.

Installation and Replacement
✔ Shut off the compressed air supply and depressurize the system completely
✔ Disassemble the blast gun and remove the existing air jet
✔ Clean the mixing chamber and the threads or mounting surface
✔ Install the new air jet completely and without tension
✔ Correctly install the blast nozzle and other components
✔ Check for proper function and leaks before regular operation

Maintenance and Safety
✔ Check the air jet regularly for wear and damage
✔ Check if the blast pattern is uneven or if suction power is decreasing
✔ Operate only with dry and clean compressed air
✔ Do not reuse damaged threads or mounts
✔ Perform maintenance work only on systems that are depressurized

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

For which guns is the air jet suitable?
These variants are designed for Contracor blast guns in the GA and GX series.

Which air jet is compatible with an 8 mm diameter blast nozzle?
For a blast nozzle with a diameter of 8 mm, the air jet with a 4.0 mm bore is typically used.

What size do I need?
The bore size must match the existing blast nozzle, the desired performance, and the available compressor power. If in doubt, use the size that has been installed previously.

Does a larger air jet always increase performance?
Only if sufficient compressed air is available and the blast nozzle used is suitable. Otherwise, the working pressure may drop.

Is the blast nozzle included?
No. Only the selected air jet will be delivered.
