Condensate drain ED, 1/2", 16 bar, 10–30 m³/min

The electronic condensate drain valves in the Comprag ED series enable fully automatic, compressed-air-loss-free drainage of condensate from compressed-air systems. A capacitive sensor controls the solenoid valve as needed and reliably prevents energy losses due to compressed-air leakage. Thanks to their compact design, integrated dirt trap, TEST button, and 1/2″ threaded connection, the ED valves are ideal for compressors, dryers, filters, and air receivers. Available for flow rates up to 30 m³/min at an operating pressure of up to 16 bar.

Leasing & Rent-to-Own

We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.

Leasing

In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

Shipping & Delivery

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer:

We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided on an individual basis upon request, either before or after the order is placed.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

In the event of significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. The customer’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this.

Comprag ED Series – Electronic Condensate Drain Valve with No Compressed Air Loss

Comprag’s ED Series electronic condensate drain valves are the most advanced solution for reliable, loss-free condensate drainage in compressed air systems. Using a capacitive sensor, the system precisely detects the fill level and automatically controls the opening of the solenoid valve. This ensures that condensate is removed efficiently and without pressure loss—ideal for industrial settings, workshops, or sensitive applications.

✅ Highlights
  • Electronic level control with capacitive sensor
  • 100% compressed air loss-free condensate drain
  • With a test button for function testing and manual drain
  • Integrated dust collector for reliable operation
  • Compact design – can be mounted horizontally or vertically
  • Easy to maintain thanks to a modular valve block

  • For compressors, dryers, filters, or air receivers
  • Ideal for situations with highly fluctuating or irregular condensate formation
  • Prevents energy loss due to compressed air leaks

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions About the ED Series
  • How does the ED condensate drain valve work?
A capacitive sensor measures the fill level. The solenoid valve opens automatically only when needed—with absolutely no loss of compressed air.
  • Can I test the valve myself?
Yes, every model has a test button for manual drainage or functional testing.
  • Is it necessary to filter the condensate?
An integrated dirt trap protects the valve. For condensate with a high oil content, an additional oil-water separator is recommended.
  • What models are available?
The series includes the ED-10, ED-20, and ED-30—tailored to the flow rate of your compressed air system.
