Blast Pot Components for Maintenance, Repair, and Expansion

Blast pot components include parts required for the operation, filling, compressed-air treatment, and maintenance of professional blast pots. Many components are specific to a particular series or size and must therefore fit the existing equipment exactly.

The product range includes, among other items, lids, abrasive sieves, water separators, rubber-coated pipe and manifold parts, as well as service kits for various blast pots and system configurations. Additional compatible replacement and wear parts may be added to the range.

When making a selection, the manufacturer, exact boiler series, connection size, and existing valve technology should be specified. Especially for parts relevant to inspections, unambiguous identification is more important than mere external dimensions.

Which blast pot component is needed?

✅ Lids and screens compatible with drum size and model series

✅ Water separators by connection size and air flow rate

✅ Pipe and manifold components compatible with existing piping

✅ Assign service kits precisely to the boiler and valve system

Blast pot components for reliable system operation

In addition to the pressure vessel and the abrasive metering valve, a professional blast pot consists of numerous other components. Lids, screens, water separators, pipe fittings, gaskets, and inspection components fulfill different functions and are often tailored to a specific tank series or connection size. Clear identification is therefore crucial during maintenance and repair.

Lid and Abrasive Sieves

Lids and screens are among the components involved in filling the blast pot. A suitable abrasive screen helps to trap coarse foreign objects or unsuitable particles before they enter the pot and later interfere with the metering valve or nozzle. The dimensions of the lid and screen must match the respective pot size and design.

Water Separators for Compressed Air Systems

Moisture in compressed air can significantly disrupt the transport of abrasive media. Water separators reduce liquid moisture in the air stream, thereby supporting more consistent operation. The required size depends on the connection dimensions, air flow rate, and blast pot system. A separator that is too small can cause additional pressure loss.

Rubber-coated pipe and manifold components in the abrasive delivery system

Depending on the system configuration, pipe nipples, double nipples, tees, or Y-pieces are used in the abrasive flow path. Rubber-coated versions protect components in high-stress areas from direct abrasive impact. Nevertheless, these components are also subject to wear and should be inspected during maintenance work.

Service kits for specific boiler and system configurations

Service kits bundle several wear and sealing parts for specific blast pots or valve systems. Accurate matching is particularly important here. A kit for a 1-1/4-inch blast pot configuration with a specific metering valve is not automatically suitable for a different valve system. Before ordering, the blast pot type and existing assemblies should be clearly identified.

Always check for spare parts as well

✅ Manufacturer and exact blast pot model series

✅ Tank size and year of manufacture or model

✅ Connection sizes and existing piping

✅ Dosing valve and remote control system

✅ Wear condition of adjacent components

Maintenance prevents consequential damage

Abrasive media and compressed air subject many components to constant stress. Small leaks, worn pipe fittings, or damaged seals can increasingly impair operation and affect other components. Regular visual and functional inspections help detect wear early on.
