Leasing
In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.
Hire Purchase
Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).

The rpb Safety Nova 2000 is a compressed-air-powered blast helmet designed specifically for abrasive blasting applications. The model has been in professional use worldwide for many years and combines a robust helmet construction with comfortable padding, reliable air delivery, and a practical visor system.
The helmet shell is UV-stabilized and abrasion-resistant. Multi-layered, sound-absorbing foams reduce noise levels inside the helmet, while the supplied breathing air is directed specifically to the breathing zone and simultaneously prevents the visor from fogging up.
The hood is securely fastened to the helmet with eight snap fasteners. In this version, the Nova 2000 is available with a nylon or leather hood and an air control valve.

Nylon or leather cape?
The nylon coverall is lighter and more flexible. It is suitable for general blasting applications where mobility and light weight are priorities.
The leather apron offers greater resistance to strongly rebounding abrasive media and intense mechanical stress. It is particularly suitable for heavy-duty blasting work, shipyards, steel construction, and long operating hours.
Airflow and Visibility
The internal airflow directs breathing air specifically to the breathing area and over the face shield. This ensures that the shield is continuously ventilated, reducing the risk of fogging. The cassette face shield system allows for quick replacement of soiled face shields directly while working.
Padding and Noise Reduction
The inner padding stabilizes the helmet and improves comfort. It is removable for cleaning and machine-washable. Multi-layer foam padding inside the helmet further helps reduce noise levels.

The Nova 2000 requires a suitable breathing-air supply with sufficient flow rate and the operating pressure specified by the manufacturer. The compressed air used must meet the requirements of applicable regulations. A breathing-air filter such as the RPB Radex is used for treatment but does not replace a safe air source or the required gas monitoring.
Operation must only be carried out using approved breathing-air hoses, air control valves, and a suitable breathing air source. The complete configuration must comply with the manufacturer’s specifications and the workplace risk assessment.
