ECO-S Series

Abrasive media and Blasting Parameters

The result is largely determined by the abrasive media, grit size, working pressure, distance, and dwell time. Suction blasting is not automatically gentle on materials; even sensitive surfaces can be damaged if the parameters are unsuitable. Therefore, the settings should be adjusted to the material and the desired surface finish and, if necessary, tested on a sample area first.

Properly Sizing Compressed Air Systems

Even with suction blast cabinets, the compressor power must match the air and blast nozzles being used. A stable working pressure and sufficient air volume are crucial for a uniform blast pattern. Pressure losses in lines, filters, and connections should be taken into account during design.
