Tlakové tryskací kabiny Clemco jsou určeny pro náročné tryskací práce v uzavřeném kabinovém systému. Sortiment zahrnuje modely Pulsar II, Pulsar III, Pulsar VI a Pulsar VI Plus a také průmyslové modely BNP 65, 220, 601 a 721. K dispozici jsou tak kompaktnější řešení i kabiny pro větší obrobky a pravidelné průmyslové použití.

V závislosti na modelu se používají tlakové nádoby o objemu 20, 40 nebo 100 litrů, cyklony s různým výkonem, patronové filtry a tryskací hubice z karbidu wolframu nebo karbidu boru. Tlakové tryskání nabízí vysoký úběrový výkon a je vhodné zejména k odstraňování rzi, okují a nátěrů i k intenzivní přípravě povrchu. Rozhodující je dostatečně dimenzovaný přívod stlačeného vzduchu.

Clemco pressure blast cabinets in our product line

Clemco pressure blast cabinets combine a closed-cabinet system with the powerful blast cleaning process. This makes them suitable for applications requiring high material removal rates, intensive cleaning, or reproducible surface finishes. The product line includes more compact Pulsar models and larger BNP industrial systems.

Pulsar II through Pulsar VI Plus

The Pulsar II and Pulsar III feature a 20-liter blast pot and a cyclone with a capacity of 8.4 m³/min. The Pulsar VI and VI Plus feature a 40-liter blast pot and a cyclone with a capacity of 16.8 m³/min. Depending on the model, boron-carbide or tungsten carbide blast nozzles are installed. The Pulsar VI Plus expands the filtration technology to two filter cartridges and is thus designed to handle correspondingly higher dust loads and operating demands.

BNP Pressure Blast Cabinets for Larger Applications

The BNP models 65, 220, 601, and 721 are equipped with 100-liter blast chambers and 900-CFM cyclones. They are designed for industrial applications and differ primarily in booth size and filter configuration. The BNP-721 offers a choice of two filter variants. When selecting the size, in addition to the workpiece itself, sufficient space for turning and secure positioning should be taken into account.

Why Abrasive Blasting?

In pressure blasting, the abrasive media is metered directly from a pressurized container into the compressed air stream and conveyed to the nozzle. Compared to the suction blasting method, this provides higher abrasive media and removal rates. This is particularly advantageous for removing stubborn coatings, corrosion, scale, or in applications requiring high surface coverage rates.

Abrasive Reconditioning and Filtration

As usage increases, dust, abrasion residue, and broken grains accumulate in the abrasive media circulation system. The cyclones help separate these fine particles from the reusable abrasive media. The cartridge filters capture the dust generated during blasting and help maintain good visibility in the work area. Regular checks of filter condition and abrasive media quality help ensure a stable process.

The nozzle and abrasive media determine the result

The nozzle bore significantly affects air consumption and achievable surface coverage rates. At the same time, the hardness, shape, and grit size of the abrasive determine the extent to which a surface is removed or roughened. Even with a high-performance pressure blast cabinet, sensitive materials should therefore be tested using appropriate parameters and, if necessary, on a test area.

Match the compressor to the piping system

The actual performance of a pressure blast cabinet depends largely on the compressed air supply. The nozzle bore, operating pressure, and available compressor free air delivery must be properly matched. In addition, pressure losses in pipes, compressed-air treatment systems, and couplings should be taken into account. A compressor that is too small limits performance regardless of the size of the blast pot.

Keep an eye on operation and wear and tear

Higher blasting power also places greater strain on the nozzle, hose, interior, and abrasive media. Wear parts should therefore be inspected regularly. Replacing the nozzle in a timely manner helps keep air consumption and the blast pattern within the intended range.
