Leasing & Rent-to-Own
Leasing & Rent-to-Own
We offer leasing and rent-to-own financing options exclusively to business owners, tradespeople, and the self-employed for selected products with a net merchandise value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between these two financing options.
Leasing
In a lease, the product is made available to the lessee for use in exchange for regular lease payments. The lessor is responsible for accounting for the lease. The lease payments can generally be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and value-added tax is charged throughout the entire term. At the end of the agreed-upon basic lease term, it is generally possible to purchase the product.
Hire Purchase
Hire purchase is economically equivalent to installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the final hire purchase installment, ownership of the item is transferred to the hire purchaser. Value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (transitory item).
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping & Delivery
Depending on the size, weight, and nature of our goods, they are shipped either via parcel service or freight carrier. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.
The delivery times listed in the online store are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.
Most of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the estimated times provided. Delivery delays may occur, particularly in the event of material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Disclaimer:
We assume no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages—in particular for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits—is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Partial deliveries are permitted, provided they are reasonable for the customer. This does not result in additional shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

IBIX Active Blast Helmet – lightweight, fan-assisted respiratory protection for mobile blasting operations
The IBIX Active blast helmet is a lightweight, battery-powered blower-based respiratory protection system designed for dust-intensive blasting, cleaning, and surface treatment tasks. The integrated blower continuously supplies the user with filtered air and creates a slight positive pressure around the head. This reduces breathing resistance while the airflow simultaneously prevents the visor from fogging up.
Since the Active generates its own airflow via a battery and filter, no separate breathing air line to the compressor is required. This ensures a great deal of freedom of movement and makes the helmet particularly suitable for mobile fine blasting and low-pressure blasting, restoration, and other applications involving particulate dust. The lightweight hard-cap construction offers additional impact protection and can be adjusted to fit different head sizes.
IBIX Active at a Glance
✅ Class TH1P respiratory protection for blasting operations in accordance with EN 12941
✅ Filtered airflow of approx. 160 l/min
✅ Lithium-ion battery with up to 8 hours of runtime
✅ Hardcap A1+ impact-resistant cap technology in accordance with EN 812
✅ Only approx. 670 g Weight of the helmet assembly
✅ Self-contained operation without a permanently connected breathing air line
Blower-powered respiratory protection without a breathing-air hose
The blower draws in ambient air through the filter units and continuously feeds the purified air into the helmet. The airflow of approximately 160 liters per minute supports breathing and ensures a steady flow of air behind the visor. For the user, this means significantly greater freedom of movement compared to systems that are permanently connected to an external air supply via a breathing-air hose.
The Active functions as a loose-fitting, fan-assisted respiratory protection system. According to the manufacturer, this means that a traditional mask fit test—as required for tight-fitting respirators—is not necessary. However, it remains crucial that the helmet, sealing areas, filter, and airflow are in perfect condition before use.

Visor, airflow, and comfort
The large-area visor protects the face and eyes from dust and rebounding particles. The continuous airflow is directed from the inside across the field of view, thereby reducing the tendency to fog up. For blasting operations in which the outer surface of the visor is subjected to heavy wear, replaceable protective films are particularly practical: The protective film can be replaced before the actual visor surface becomes unnecessarily scratched.
Thanks to its light weight of about 670 grams and ergonomic head fit, the Active is designed for good mobility and comfortable use. Optionally, the system can be supplemented with matching hearing protection.
Filters, Pre-filters, and Maintenance
The Active uses particle filters in conjunction with a pre-filter system. The pre-filter captures some of the coarser dust, thereby reducing the load on the main filters. Filters, pre-filters, and wear parts should be checked regularly depending on dust exposure and duration of use, and replaced according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
The scope of delivery includes an airflow test unit. This allows you to check before use whether the blower system achieves the required airflow. Especially during dust-intensive work, this test—along with a visual inspection of the filter, face shield, battery, and sealing areas—is recommended.
Scope of Delivery
We offer the IBIX Active blast helmet as a complete, battery-powered blasting respiratory protection system:
✅ 1 × IBIX Active blast helmet, including motor and blower unit
✅ 1 × lithium-ion battery

✅ 5 × replacement films for the visor
✅ 1 × Prefilter, including prefilter mats
✅ 1 × Airflow Test Unit
Typical Applications
The Active is particularly well-suited for mobile work in dusty and particulate-laden environments where a lightweight helmet and great freedom of movement are required. This includes, for example, fine blasting and low-pressure blasting, restoration and renovation work, surface cleaning, as well as dust-intensive grinding and workshop tasks. For very high dust exposure or applications where a full-featured industrial safety helmet is additionally required, the IBIX Infinity with TH3P and EN 397 head protection offers a higher protection class.
Active or Infinity?
The IBIX Active is the lighter solution: TH1P respiratory protection, a hard cap for impact protection, and a weight of only about 670 grams make it particularly portable. The IBIX Infinity is designed for more demanding applications and combines TH3P respiratory protection with an industrial safety helmet compliant with EN 397 and a heavy-duty panoramic visor. The selection should therefore be based not only on comfort, but always on the risk assessment of the specific workplace.
Important Safety Notice
The IBIX Active is a particulate respiratory protection system. It is designed for dust and other particulate airborne contaminants and is not a substitute for appropriate respiratory protection against gases or vapors. Before each use, a risk assessment must be conducted to determine the required protection class and the system’s suitability for the substances actually present. When performing blasting operations with hazardous substances or under conditions of particularly high exposure, a breathing air system with a higher protection level may be required.
FAQs about the IBIX Active blast helmet
Does the Active require an external breathing-air supply?
No. The blaster is powered by the built-in rechargeable battery and draws in ambient air through the particle filters. This allows the user to move freely without the need for an additional breathing air line.
How long does the battery last?
Depending on operating conditions, the runtime on a single battery charge is up to about 8 hours.
What is the airflow rate?
The system delivers approximately 160 liters of filtered air per minute.
What is the protection class of the Active?
The blasting respirator complies with TH1P according to EN 12941. An A1+ hard cap with impact protection, compliant with EN 812, is used for head protection.
